Safer saving, clearer story status, and phone photos that just work

New

  • Warnings for names you keep private. If a name from your list, or the story's Organization, is still anywhere a reader would see it, a variation tells you beside Save and again at Publish. You decide what to do about it. How it works

  • A note when Folios turn off. If your plan ends and you're over the Free limit, we email you so it's never a surprise.

  • Ask for a review. If a Folio is blocked at publish and you think that's a mistake, you can now ask us to take a look.

Improved

  • Stories show Draft or Finished. Save Story marks a story Finished, and Home only lists the ones you still have to finish.

  • Phone photos upload as they are. Large images from a modern phone now work without resizing them first. About files

  • Long stories get a clear answer. AI tells you plainly when a story is too long for it, and a note under the editor says how much it reads.

  • Deleting a file tells you what it affects. The dialog warns you when published Folios use that file.

  • Clearer wording about your Organization. It stays private unless you mark a variation Public-safe.

  • Dates you can trust. Last days, deadlines and renewal dates now read correctly wherever you are.

  • Policy updates. The Privacy Policy and Terms were updated on November 6, 2026, including how to send a copyright complaint.

Fixed

  • A tab left open can no longer save over newer words in a story. You're told the story changed somewhere else.

  • A file can no longer sit on Checking forever.

  • A stuck Evidence matrix draft now gives you your rows and Redraft back after a few minutes.

  • One missing file no longer stops your whole data export.

  • Behind-the-scenes reliability improvements.
